Instruction Ranks in Global Top 20
The University of Texas (UT) at Austin’s Platinum Executive Education program presents the Leadership Management Seminar for DKG. In November 2013, the McCombs School of Business became Number 15 in the Bloomberg Businessweek’s ranking of the top 20 executive education programs for custom programs and 7th among universities in the United States.
“We are delighted to see the Bloomberg ranking reflect our expanding efforts to meet companies’ educational needs,” Dr. Gaylen Paulson, Associate Dean of Texas Executive Education, comments.
What’s taught in the seminar?
Dr. Jo W. Murphy, 2014-2016 committee chair, says, “The Leadership Management Seminar is training that prepares our members to be leaders in any capacity. It is personal, comprehensive, and applicable to all areas of their lives. Participants leave with tools that enable and empower them to be successful leaders.” Society representatives meet with UT Austin Executive Education program planners to assess current needs and practices used in the work place. They look at how we can prepare members for educational advancements that address today’s trends.
Celebrate the future
This is not your business-as-usual, “sage-on-a-stage” approach. Participants learn by interacting with each other and top of the line instructors. We are asking members to celebrate in preparing for the future by donating to the International Golden Gift Fund today.
