Leadership Development Committee
2008-2010 Goals

1. To develop a core curriculum as a guide for state organization presidents.


2. To present Leadership Development conferences for the incoming state organization presidents and new executive secretaries. These conferences will be provided prior to each regional conference. The emphasis of the conferences will be on strengthening leadership skills and providing information about the Society.
3.  To participate in the Info Fairs at the 2009 Regional Conferences.
4. To explore and encourage the use of technology as an effective leadership tool.
5. To present Leadership Development workshops for chapter presidents and state organization presidents at the 2010 International Convention.
6.  To communicate with state and chapter leadership development committee chairs.
7.  To support state organization presidents throughout the biennium.
8. To encourage and promote leadership development throughout the Society.
