Leadership Management Seminar

The 2010 Leadership/Management Seminar was held at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas in Austin June 27 – July 10. Thirty members attended sessions presented by well-known professors that featured the most up-to-date instruction. They learned communication, negotiation, decision making, management, leadership and advocacy skills using practical applications.

In 2011 the Golden Gift Fund Committee will be looking for women who have been members of the Society for at least three years and who have the potential to develop leadership and management skills. Those members will apply for the 2012 Leadership/Management Seminar (deadline December 1, 2011) to be held from late June through early July, for two weeks, at the University of Texas. Are you such a member? Can you demonstrate leadership potential? Is your DKG experience commensurate with your years of membership?
