World Fellowship Committee
Application Process
In 1980, a screening process was approved for recipients to attend the Canadian Universities of Alberta, Calgary, Windsor and Toronto. In 1999, Queens University, Brandon University and University of Manitoba were added. The screening process in Canada is administered by World Fellowship Committees in each location.
Applications for Society fellowships are conducted through bi-national selection committees sponsored by Fulbright Commissions/Foundations or by the Cultural Affairs Office of the United States Embassy in the applicant's home country. All supporting documents and test results are sent to the Institute of the International Education (IIE) in the United States.
