During the 2010 International Convention Delta Kappa Gamma recognized outstanding coverage of education by media in the Spokane area. The Media Awards highlighted efforts made by KHQ-TV Q6 News, KHQ Web site and the Spokesman-Review in covering education during the last year. Dr. Carolyn Rants, 2008-2010 international president, said, “We want to recognize the excellence in education in Spokane’s area and those who tell the story of that achievement. By nominating local media, you will help us encourage continued excellence in education and reporting of what is happening in education at all levels.” |
