Leadership/Management Seminar
Helpful Hints for Your Application
If you are planning to apply for the 2012 Leadership/Management Seminar you should keep in mind the following:

You must have been initiated into DKG before December 1, 2008, in order to apply this year.

Your Society experience and positions should be commensurate with the number of years you have been a member. You need to demonstrate potential to develop leadership and management skills that you will use in the future.

There are three forms you need to download: Leadership/Management Seminar application, Chapter President Referent, Professional Referent. The forms are in MS Word Interactive format. Be sure to follow the instructions carefully.

An electronic signature means that you type in your name in the space provided on the form.

Don’t wait until the last minute to begin the application process, and do submit it in time to allow for confirmation that all is complete.

Ask a knowledgeable member to assist you.

You will submit your completed application form as an email attachment. Your references will also submit the referent forms as email attachments.

If you are selected, you will be required to submit a registration fee of U.S. $500.00. Chapters and state organizations are encouraged to help with this fee for members who are selected. Most other expenses are paid by the Golden Gift Fund, including transportation, lodging, most meals, and seminar materials.
