About the Committee

The responsibilities of the expansion committee are to initiate and sponsor units of the Society in countries where no organization of the Society currently exists and to support and strengthen state organizations who may need assistance in growth

Committee Goals

  1.  To devise and implement strategies to strengthen state organizations outside the United States

  2. To work with International Membership Committee to create resources to help state organizations grow and to strengthen their chapters.

  3. To work with other international committees to offer women opportunities to join the Society by making electronic connections from non-member countries. To work toward reinstalling dissolved state organizations

  4. To monitor progress of expansion into Japan

  5. To communicate with state organizations to explain the work of the committe.

  6. To produce a procedural manual for the International Expansion Committee
