About the Committee

The finance committee is an elected committee. This group is responsible for supervision of the Society's financial affairs.

Members of this committee prepare the budget, present to the Administrative Board for review, present to the Executive Board for adoption, establish guidelines for the corporate secretary regarding investment of all funds and provide for an annual audit by an external certified public accountant.

Committee Goals

Review the investment policy and update as needed.
Prepare the 2012-2014 Available Fund budget for presentation to the International Executive Board.
Review the annual audit of Society funds.
Review Available Fund income and expenditures quarterly.
Recommend adjustments for the 2011-2012 budget.
Respond to concerns expressed by finance chairs and treasurers.
Use Go-to-Meeting.
Cooperate with the Non-dues Revenue Committee in promoting non-dues revenue opportunities.
