Editorial Board

About the Committee

The Editorial Board shall uphold standards of high quality in evaluating manuscripts for the Bulletin. Actions of the Editorial Board shall be reviewed by the Communications Committee and referred to the Administrative Board. Please send your Letters to the Editor, online feedback and other comments to bulletin@dkg.org

Committee Goals

1. Continue to refine processes to ensure a quality, professional publication—update/revise cover, formatting, submission grid, rubric, submission procedures.
2. Develop and use a closed group on the DKG Network for posting of submissions for review and for discussion of pertinent Bulletin issues.
3. Develop and disseminate themes for issues through Winter 2014.
4. Promote inclusion of lengthy research articles (4000+ words) in online editions. Include abstracts of these articles in print versions and publish a comprehensive index of online articles with urls.
5. Develop an online forum for publication of poetry and/or display of graphic art pieces as alternatives to publication in Bulletin.
6.  Survey members regarding their perceptions and use of the Bulletin.
7. Continue to include interviews written by the editorial board members in the Bulletin and develop book/web reviews for online issues of the journal.
8. Pursue having the Bulletin listed in Cabell’s and Ulrich’s to increase its visibility as a juried journal.
