31 scholarships available
As many as 31 scholarships are awarded each year to members pursuing advance degrees.
Scholarships for those seeking other graduate studies are $6,000 and a doctorate is $10,000.
• State organizations and chapters
provided $258,366.39 in scholarships to 750 members in 2018-2019.
• At the international level
the Society awarded $104,000 in scholarships for 2018-2019.
• As of 2018-2019 the Society has awarded $5,750,000.00 to 1,144 members since the
international scholarship program began in 1940.
• Total contributions
in 2018-2019 totaled $134,996.65.

How to apply
|
• Be an active member of the Society
for a minimum of three years if pursuing
doctoral studies, and be an active member of
the Society for a minimum of one (1) year
at the time of application if pursuing other
graduate studies.

• Complete current application form
available July 1 on Society website. |
• Have completed a bachelor’s degree
or equivalent |
• Request appropriate transcripts. |
• Be accepted and enrolled in a graduate
program of a nationally accredited institution
of higher education, preferably pursuing a doctoral degree. |
• Obtain status of program documentation. |
• Provide evidence of
excellence in scholarship and service to the community. |
• Secure letters of recommendation.
