Get a Behind-The-Scenes Look at the Mardi Gras Parade and Floats!
Save the date,
Wednesday, July 13, 2022, and plan to join fellow DKG convention attendees as they spend that evening at Mardi Gras World in New Orleans. DKG International Educators Foundation (DKGIEF) will host the event to raise funds for educational projects that it supports.
Only four hundred (400) tickets are available for this up-close, behind-the-scenes look at what goes into creating the famed Mardi Gras annual parades.
- Bus transportation
- Admission to Mardi Gras World to see the floats (many photo-ops)
- Multiple catered food stations in the Grand Oaks Mansion on site
Throughout the evening you will hear the live sounds of a regional jazz band.
The first 150 ticket buyers will be part of a special Mardi Gras mask-making activity

When you register for the 2022 DKG International Convention there will be an option to add-on this event ticket.
Encourage others to buy their tickets early, so that they will not miss this opportunity.
$43.97 of your ticket price will go as a donation the DKG International Educators Foundation if 400 people attend.
Bus pick-up from the convention hotel will begin at 4:30 p.m. on the day of the event. Return transportation will begin shuttling between the venue and the hotel at 7 p.m. The event concludes at 8:30 p.m..
Not only will your participation provide you with an exciting evening in NOLA, but also will raise funds toward DKGIEF’s mission “to educate the world.”
